It will be a gentle, safe, thoughtful, and reassuring exploration of our own inner, physcial self. It will be unlike anything you have ever experienced, an anatomy informed approach to biomechanical enlightenment. You will learn easy, natural, and safe ways to balance and integrate yourself. Please come with your heart, mind, and body prepared!
Three Bones Theory and the Sensory Stations of the Deep Core
This is my own original scholarship. It is based on work by Thomas Myers, below.

Images of the Deep Core

(from Thomas Myers, Anatomy Trains: Myofascial Meridians for Manual and Movement Therapists, 4th Ed., Elsevier 2020)
The deep core forms the foundation of our structure. It is our postural core and runs from tongue to toe in a myofascial continuity, through our deepest center. It connects us with ourselves and with the earth.
It is the basis for our social recognition system and its associated structures, the sensory stations of the deep core, provide the abundant, natural, and generous resources we need to renegotiate trauma, releive chronic joint pain, restore structural balance, and discover greater self-awareness.
There are a number of continuities that Myers describes. These are functional lines that we use and experience, whether we are aware of the anatomy or not. But awareness is key! The deep core is the deepest and most profound of these, and it is what we will focus on in the Muscle Salon.
