Anatomy First in the Somatic Revolution.

Everyone is focused on the brain. However I am deeply certain it is not the brain that does the heavy lifting but the body (and its environment) that does the real work, or at least the really interesting work. Perhaps the brain is more like a servomechanism that is meaningless without the larger system it regulates.
It is the larger system we need to focus on, experientially, so that we can actually develop the structures in the brain we need to be able to manage it.
The most immediate system the brain must work with is anatomical. The bony servomechanisms in the body greatly expand the brains control over its body and its environment.
