A handful of bones

How close are you to your own inner truth? Our collective destination is only that far away. Look how quickly the world is changing. Rapid change is possible, obviously. If change that is far far too rapid is possible, then why not the change we all truly desire, the evolutionary imperative of health and harmony?
The only question is whether it is going to happen to you from the outside in a way that you can’t really control and understand… or whether it’s going to happen from within you, in a way that you feel and know and are. What is deep within us may seem like it is the farthest thing from our minds but that can change in an instant. It just depends on where you put your mind. You can hold the Internet and social media in your hand. It feels like you can hold the world in your hands but it is an illusion.
Your own true inner self comes to you in a handful of bones, bony gateways to the inner self. This is what I teach and this is what I practice. It hasn’t made me a billionaire but there are other treasures, many, many other treasures for us to collect.
It helps a great deal to know about this new body part, the deep core, the axial line, our animal intelligence, the interoceptive sensitive motor system, awakening to quiet inner balance. Everything else suddenly becomes unnecessary.
It is not some kind of mysterious sudden enlightenment that you have to read 1000 pages of ancient Buddhism to find. That is the opposite of what we need. It is a very real and tangible sudden unemburdenment.
It happens when you place your feet on the ground. It happens when you place your hands on another, and care. Really care. It happens when you know yourself from the inside out. It is just an animal intelligence. Remember, all animals have it. Animals and children have it without education or language. We all have it residing quietly within.
We simply need to know about this new body part within us. It is a new body part. The deep core. We need to get familiar with it. It is always there. It has always been there. It must always be there holding you together and creating balance and stability.
It is not mysterious or abstruse or mystical. It is literally a handful of bones. You always already possess all that you need. The only thing that has been missing is a handful of bones. The bones that take you within and show you who you really are from the inside out — All it takes is a handful of bones.
