Touch is an inalienable and universal part of Truth.
Truth is Emergent
Truth is emergent and a large part of it is nonverbal. What we know as scientific truth is only one part of the story that we have to understand in order to understand life. Truth.
The problem with scientific truth is that it doesn’t reflect the nature of complex living organisms, that is of life and living things. It’s accuracy requires that the object it describes be considered as separate and distinct phenomenon. In other words science sees things that aren’t alive. Mathematics can only describe the behavior of abstract phenomenon and inanimate matter.
There is a nonverbal element of truth that is central and determinate. We can perceive this with all of our external senses but among them touch is perhaps the most important as measured by the number of mechanoreceptors present in our body. Moreover, the majority are located within, interoceptively. Touch is the quintessential sense.
Touch is an inalienable and universal part of Truth but it is also nonverbal. Sensitivity, trust, vulnerability, and safety are prerequisites to this deeper form of embodied cognition.
