A Perceptual Ecosystem

Truth is a perceptual ecosystem and it is sexy. It is not restricted by Victorian sensibilities. It is not something that you possess in your head or that you argue about with words and symbols. That old idea is a foolish and youthful arrogance we are all guilty of.
Truth exists within the world and our bodies, not in our heads. It is active and non-verbal. It is muscular and sensual. It is a world unto itself and we must choose to submit to it and enter into it and to attend to it.

We can find the truth in ourselves because there is a primal body plan we can resonate with. Our basic body plan is shared by all vertebrates and is found throughout nature as a core design principle. The body plan is literally the deep core or axial line.

A process of mutual introductions and gentle, gradual friend-making has to occur even within our own bodies, but the body plan is easy to remember and interacting with it is intuitive and gentle.
Biomechanical enlightenment is a form of perceptual shift. It is built upon a sensory motor metastability using the postural system. The postural system is located on the axial line of the body and is a single myofascial continuity from tongue to toe. This is called the deep core and it is easy to relate to.

All the anatomy we need to know is as simple as three or four major bony servomechanisms. These are each located at the center of a major juncture of our body. The structure is self-explanatory.
These bones are all very prominent. They are shaped so that we can interact with them easily as grips, handles and levers. The system really is self-explanatory because it just fits when you find it. We intuitively get a grip on ourselves in a way that is biopsychosocial in these bony servo mechanisms.
Learning this theory about yourself can itself be startling. It can be startling when we find the proof of our own self identity contained peacefully within us. But that is just the beginning.

This is about who you are inside of yourself and what that means is completely determined by you, on your own time and in your own way. It is as time passes and you get to know yourself from the inside out that you start to really experience the truth.
This is what we explore in our prosocial embodiment circle.
